Crip Crop and Kaleidoscopic Prints

Hey guys! How have you been? I can't believe that I've just started the last semester to third year of Uni. How time flies! Hope your studies are going well.
Last week my sister and I paid Cardiff a little trip to raid the shops and purchase some clothes and accessories that will be key staple items to our Summer wardrobes. It was also the perfect opportunity to make the most of student discount as I graduate in the Summer. Boo!
H&M were offering 50% off on their trousers and jeans, so I knew that I had to snap these beautiful pants with a kaleidoscopic like print on. As you can tell, I love a good bargain and always try to purchase items that will give me the best out of my money, so at just £3 the plain black loosely fitted cropped top from Primark definitely fulfilled that little desire of mine. Like everyone else, I love the look of teaming up a cropped top with skirts, shorts or trousers that have a higher waist. Think Kelly Kapowski from 'Saved by the bell.' I definitely think that this look will stay on trend for a while as it greatly flatters so many different figures and it allows you to be playful and creative with which items to pair up together with.

Spring has Sprung

I'm nearly into the third week of my Easter break already and after piling on layers and layers of clothes to shield myself away from the coldness, I can officially say that the sun has finally come out to say hello :). Hooray! I'm so glad that every last bit of the snow has gone and that I can actually add more loose fitted shirts and peep toe shoes to my outfits again, although having suffered from this hideous cold I should still opt for more layers but I was too excited to see the sun and feel some warmth against my skin.

I wore to outfit to a little going away party that some of my parents friends organised for us. We're hoping to move to Cardiff soon, exciting times. I bought these peep toe shoes from River Island back in January and have been itching to wear them out, alas the perfect opportunity finally came. Teaming them up with casual, high waisted black pants and a simple white shirt tucked in kept the outfit on trend without trying too hard. As for accessories, I opted for a statement necklace which I think added interest to the whole outfit. I absolutely love accessories that enhance and add beauty to the neck, I always focus on that area through necklaces, collar chains and scarves. I hope you like this outfit. Is it sunny where you are? How have you been enjoying the sunshine?
